Until that day, the possibility of uploading to the Subpesca website proposals regarding the discussion being carried out in the aquaculture sector will remain open, whether with own documents or by filling in the available form.
With the aim of working on a General Aquaculture Law that is the result of an open and transparent debate; that addresses and provides answers to the challenges facing the sector for the next decades and that continues to contribute sustainably to national and global food security, it is that the Subsecretariat of Fisheries and Aquaculture resolved to extend until next Friday 6 December the participatory stage towards the development of the bill project.
This includes both the extension of the participation process through our website, which was originally available until this Thursday 31 October, as well as the holding of the workshops that are committed and are being carried out with the support of the Aquaculture and Environment Institute of the Austral University of Chile, Puerto Montt campus.
In the case of the workshops -and after having received various proposals and observations that have been sent to us by different actors in the aquaculture sector within the framework of these dialogues- it is that the original schedule was adjusted.

The above, in the spirit of maximizing the listening opportunities that these field instances provide throughout the country for the collection of proposals in preparation for the General Aquaculture Law.
