"Thank you to all the people, companies and institutions that work tirelessly to make this sector a prosperous and sustainable place," said the General Director of Partnerfish and the Aquaculture Board.
On November 30th each year the Aquaculture Day is celebrated, initiative with which the aim is to commemorate and inform society about the entire relevance that aquaculture has for Chile and the whole world.
Today we celebrate the vitality of an industry that feeds the world and contributes to the well-being of all. We are proud to be part of this exciting journey, and we will continue to strive every day to promote the industry's narrative, highlighting sustainability, innovation and commitment to food security. "Thank you to all the people, companies and institutions that work tirelessly to make this sector a prosperous and sustainable place," said the General Director of Partnerfish and the Aquaculture Directory, Pedro Barra Léniz.
Seminar
In the framework of this same commemoration, the Chilean Aquaculture Society (Schacui) is broadcasting live on its YouTube channel a seminar highlighting the sector's commitment over recent years to research, development and innovation (R & D & I), climate change adaptation policies, the creation of shared value with communities, new animal welfare commitments and, therefore, the sustainable development of this important productive activity.
