Even Tronstad Sagebakken will join the various activities of the largest aquaculture fair in the southern hemisphere.
The undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Fisheries of Norway (The Government), Even Tronstad Sagebakken, will participate in the XII edition of AquaSur, considered the most important aquaculture fair in the southern hemisphere - in the northern hemisphere is AquaNor in Trondheim, Norway – and will take place from 19 to 21 March 2024 in its newly equipped facilities designed to host an event of this scale. The venue is located in Caletera Route 5 South, DM 1.030.460,00 Chinquihue Alto, commune of Puerto Montt, Los Lagos region, and is part of Maritime Terminals of Patagonia (TMP), sponsor of the fairground.

Recognized worldwide for his outstanding work as Undersecretary of Fisheries of Norway, Even Tronstad Sagebakken will share his vision of the current moment of the industry on the innovative strategies and policies that Norway has implemented to strengthen and promote sustainability in the aquaculture sector.
Their participation will also strengthen the ties and encourage the exchange of ideas between the international leaders and professionals of the category present at the fair.
"The presence of the undersecretary underlines the global importance of AquaSur and the outstanding position of the fair as international platform for the aquaculture industry", valued the exhibition manager, Paula Miranda. The above in line with the international position of the new organizer, FISA part of the group GL events, leading in the creation of international events and fairs.
According to GL events, AquaSur 2024 will welcome leading representatives of the aquaculture industry, researchers, government authorities and professionals from around the world.
