The competition, which is part of a study implemented by researchers and researchers of the University of Harvard, Yale, Boston and Duke, focuses on micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, mainly suppliers, linked to the aquaculture sector. The AquaSur 2024 fair is planned with more 350 exhibitors, more than 15 m2 of exhibition and more than 21,000 visitors in its three days of development, so it will be an excellent opportunity to make known products and services oriented to the aquaculture sector.

"We will have many international visits, in addition to the participation of salmon producing companies. The new enclosure seeks to provide a world class fair and we want it to be an event where everyone has a good experience," said Paula Miranda, manager of AquaSur, who also invited the small and medium-sized companies (SMEs) of the category to take advantage of the possibility of running for the contest.

Winners of "Take off your business" will be eligible for a 60% subsidy for the value of a stand of 2 square meters (m2) to display their products and/or services at the AquaSur 2024 fair -which will take place from 19 to 21 March in Puerto Montt-, being able to apply without cost all legal persons that are suppliers of products or services of the aquaculture industry. The prize has an estimated value of $537,000 pesos (the total cost of a stand is approximately $895.000).
