The International Scientific Congress AquaSur 2024 is organized by Favet of UChile and the CASA.
AquaSur 2024, the most important aquaculture meeting in the southern hemisphere, opened the call for doctoral students accredited to apply with their respective thesis in matters related to the discipline, those that must be in their final cycle, with the qualification exam taken and the project approved.

In that context, the call to participate in the International Scientific Congress AquaSur 2024 extended its deadline to apply and will be open until the next Monday, 29 January.
The selected projects must be exposed to a jurycomposed of members of industry and academia, in format pitchwhere students will have five minutes for the presentation and five minutes to resolve doubts.
The AquaSur 2024 International Scientific Congress is organized by the Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (Favet) from the University of Chile (University of Chile) and the Collaborating Centre of the World Organisation for Animal Health (Center for Antimicrobial Stewardship in Aquaculture, CASA).

The Congress will take place on Thursday, March 21, during the last day of the international AquaSur fair, whose exhibition begins on the 19th in the municipality of Puerto Montt, Los Lagos region.
