The Regional Innovation Center Los Lagos opened the applications for the Regional Development Laboratory, a program designed to promote innovative solutions to the cross-cutting challenges of the region's main industries. This lab provides a unique opportunity for companies and start-ups to present their projects before a working panel composed of trade associations, public services and investors, who will seek the best solutions to face the challenges of the local productive sector.
To participate in these thematic meetings, applicants must enter into regional innovation centre website and choose a challenge that the company or startup intends to solve, complete an application form with the solution proposal, which will be evaluated by a multidisciplinary team of professionals and, in the case of being selected, will be able to take part in the public/private panels that will take place in the months of November and December of this year.
The benefits of participating in the Regional Development Laboratory are related to presenting solutions to leaders from the public and private sectors, prospecting and obtaining feedback from these relevant actors with interest in cross-cutting challenges, obtaining brand visibility to promote solutions to industry problems and generating networks of support and valuable contacts for the development of the proposal.
The presence of public authorities, industry groups and investors is fundamental to the success of this initiative, as it will allow identifying and developing practical solutions that contribute to the growth and competitiveness of the Los Lagos Region. The Regional Development Laboratory aims to be a bridge between those who have innovative solutions and those facing daily challenges in the industry, allowing us to together build a more sustainable and efficient future", said Alejandro Velásquez, director of the industry area of the Regional Innovation Center.
