Experts, scientists and researchers are called to be part of this process, which aims to renew seven of the quotas. The call for applications will remain open until Wednesday 9 April.
The Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism published a few days ago the application guidelines for the Public Competition to renew members for the three Aquaculture Scientific-Technical Committees (CCTA): Environmental, Sanitary and Planning, which are aimed at the development of a sustainable and environmentally safe activity.
These instances are advisory and/or consultative bodies of the Subsecretariat of Fisheries and Aquaculture (Subpesca) in relevant scientific matters for the management of the aquaculture activity, and a committee may focus on one or more hydrobiological resources or subjects.
While the members of these bodies serve for four years in their functions, these quotas are renewed in parts every two years. This time, seven quotas are due to be renewed, so from Subpesca we urge experts, scientists and researchers to now join this process.
Punctual for the case of the CCTA Sanitario, those interested in applying for the special quota for research institutions or universities must be staff or teachers of a research institution or university based in the regions of Atacama, Coquimbo, La Araucanía, Los Ríos, Los Lagos, Aysén and/or Magallanes.
The call for bids will remain open until next Wednesday 9 April, with the results to be published on 16 April.
The bases can be downloaded here and the application form here.
It should be noted that all applications are deemed to be received by the date on which they are received digitally in the mail oficinadepartesgd@economia.clor physically in the Office of Parties of the Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism, located in Avenida Libertador Bernardo O'Higgins N°1449, Torre 2, piso 1, Santiago.
