Brazil positions itself as the third most important destination for Chilean salmon, consolidating the strategic relevance of the fair for the national aquaculture sector.

The president of SalmonChile, Arturo Clement, participated in the opening ceremony of the fourth edition of Seafood Show Latin America, held in São Paulo, Brazil, together with the Chilean ambassador to that country, Sebastián Depolo. During the event, the union leader was accompanied by the partner companies of SalmonChile that are showcasing their products at one of the most important meetings of the fishing and aquaculture sector in the continent.

The Seafood Show Latin America 2025, which takes place between October 22 and 24 in São Paulo, has consolidated as one of the main commercialization events for seafood products in the region, bringing together producers, suppliers, distributors, food services, importers and exporters, creating a favorable environment for business generation and the strengthening of the regional production chain.

In his participation in the opening panel, Arturo Clement highlighted the strategic importance that Brazil represents for the Chilean salmon farming sector. "Brazil has consolidated as the third most important market for our salmon, with historical export figures that show the growing interest of Brazilian consumers in high nutritional quality products such as ours," he said.

"Participating in this fair is fundamental for Chilean salmon farming as it allows us to strengthen commercial ties with regional partners and showcase the quality and sustainability of our production. The Latin American market is becoming increasingly relevant in our diversification strategy," added Clement.

During the three days of the event, the partner companies of SalmonChile present their products and services, as well as participate in business rounds with potential buyers from all over Latin America.
