Preparations for the gala advance in the thirteenth edition of the exhibition of the most important aquaculture and fisheries sectors in the southern hemisphere.
Among the various activities planned during the development of Aquasur 2026, which will take place from 24 to 26 March in the Los Lagos region, is the Aquasur Night, an exclusive body that summons the main actors of the aquaculture industry, both from the public and private sectors, together with representatives of the academy and associations.
For this occasion, the venue of the event will be the Centro de Vinculation Ciudad Puerto of the Port Company Puerto Montt, Empormontt (Av. Angelmo #1673). It is an international standard infrastructure of 2,550 square meters designed not only for maritime transport purposes, but also includes cultural, business and governmental uses.
The Aquasur Night is conceived as a space of social character that, accompanied by music, cocktail and a relaxed atmosphere, encourages the generation of new ties among the attendees. The choice of the venue for this year is closely related to the positioning of Puerto Montt, called the World Capital of Salmon, as a national and international development pole.
Rodrigo Bastidas, manager of the fair, said that the Aquasur Night “is the ideal space for creating new opportunities and connections between the different decision makers of the industry. Aquasur is a fair that is projected worldwide and will receive various authorities from key countries for the sector.”
“We want to connect our visitors offering a warm and pleasant atmosphere, taking advantage of the possibilities offered by the Port Empormontt City Linking Center. We planned a successful day in terms of networking, innovation and collaboration among all stakeholders,” Bastidas added.
