It starts in March next year.
For years, the collection of hydrobiological resources has been a pyramid-like sustenance, both in food and the way of obtaining money through the sale of this type of products. And one of the techniques and/or forms of collection is through artisanal diving, an experience that is passed down generationally, often leaving important aspects such as accident prevention and diseases associated with diving aside. As previous records have the last serious accidents and some of these with consequences of death.
It is for this reason that the Technical Training Agency (OTEC) Aquaculture Red SpA in conjunction with the Port Captaincy of Calbuco (Los Lagos region) They are organizing their second diving course for obtaining a basic diver license oriented towards women.
From OTEC Red Acuícola they explained to Partnerfish and the Aquaculture Directory that the requirements are: to know how to swim; to have passed eighth grade; and compatible health. While the registrations started on 19 February and, given the success of the call, concluded this 20 Tuesday. The beginning: next March.
“It is aimed at every artisanal diver and people who want to start this activity, where theoretical and practical tools will be delivered that lead the attendees to acquire knowledge of the physics and physiology associated with diving, as well as preventive techniques, among these know the decompression tables,” they explained from Red Acuícola, emphasizing that the interest has exceeded expectations by far, so that the call is to register soon, since there are only fifteen quotas.
In this sense, the organization said that “the owners of the house will have priority. In addition, we are seeing the possibility that companies will collaborate in order to carry out a new course.” For more information, download the brochure course:
