To facilitate access to the exhibition site, Aquasur 2026 implemented a comprehensive mobility plan that includes free shuttle buses from Puerto Montt, Puerto Varas and El Tepual airport, as well as road recommendations and limited parking.
Aquasur 2026 is around the corner. The largest aquaculture fair in the southern hemisphere will take over the Los Lagos Region from 24 to 26 March, between 11:00 and 19:00 hours.
And to avoid congestion due to the increase in visitor flow when arriving at the site, located at kilometer 1009.8 of Route 5, the event organization invites you to plan your trip and arrive without problems, avoiding possible traffic overload.
Rodrigo Bastidas, manager of the fair, says there are several direct ways to reach Aquasur 2026: from Puerto Varas, from Puerto Montt and also from the Tepual airport.
From Puerto Varas: Take Route 5 towards Puerto Montt, and go until the La Laja level crossing (past the Aquasur complex), where you must turn left and go 2.5 kilometers towards Puerto Varas. "After the Shell service station, there will be cones on the acceleration lane (on the right), which will mark the entrance to the complex," explains Bastidas.
From Puerto Montt: It's the same. Just make sure to position yourself on the right lane after the La Laja level crossing.
For those attending the vehicle, both Google Maps and Waze, both GPS navigation apps, have direct directions to reach the fair from anywhere. Simply type “Aquasur” in the search engine.
Important: To avoid delays in entry, keep in mind that parking lots are limited and it is ideal to buy in advance. It is also necessary to remember that in the sector of the enclosure there is no heater and there is no alternative place to park.
At the fair itself there are two entrances to the parking lots. “If you are a visitor, you enter through the main access of the fair and if you come by taxi or on a transport platform you can enter through the service street to the drop off point, where there is a space specially enabled to get down or wait for you to be picked up. Exhibitors must enter through the first two access ramps,” Bastidas said.
The Aquasur 2026 mobility plan contemplates free shuttle buses from Puerto Varas, Puerto Montt and from El Tepual airport.
From Puerto Varas, these approach buses will depart from the Costanera, right in front of the Radisson hotel.
Those who come out from Puerto Montt (they are also free) will do so from the parking lot SBT (located in Diego Portales 701).
In both cases, buses will leave for the Aquasur venue every 30 minutes from 9:00 AM until noon. Return buses will run every 30 minutes between 16:00 and 20:00.
From El Tepual airport there will be bus departure every hour, between 7:00 and 11:00. And every 30 minutes, between 14:00 and 15:00 hours. There will also be free return to the air terminal, with bus departures every hour, between 15:00 and 17:00 hours.
“All approach buses are free,” adds Rodrigo Bastidas.
More details of the mobility plan can be found on the website of Aquasur 2026.
