The aquaculture fair will take place in March 2026 near Puerto Varas. "Our expectation is to deliver the best experience for both exhibitors and visitors," said Carola Fuentes, general manager of FISA.
The AquaSur 2026 organization, the largest aquaculture industry event in the southern hemisphere, confirmed the location where the exhibition center will be installed, which will host its next edition on March 24, 25 and 26 in the Los Lagos region.
The location chosen for the thirteenth edition of this exhibition, which brings together the most relevant actors in aquaculture - the second most important economic activity in Chile - is near Puerto Varas, specifically in the La Laja area, Ruta 5 Sur, kilometer 1009.
The 80,000 square meter site will be equipped by installing electrical generators, tents provided by the company Tarpulin, works related to rainwater drainage and everything necessary to offer optimal conditions for visitors. The fair is organized by FISA, from the French group GL events.
Rodrigo Bastidas, manager of the exhibition, gave more details about the location: "We are very happy with the new venue where Aquasur 2026 will be held, which has substantial improvements compared to the one used in the previous version. It has a large layout both to install the fair and for the parking and all its services. We can accommodate over 2,500 vehicles and this is an advancement that aims to provide an optimal experience for visitors and exhibitors.
Aquasur, five months after its launch, has already sold 60% of its stands. In addition to a wide presence of national companies, other exhibitors come from Germany, Canada, South Korea, Spain, the United States, Italy, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Portugal, Sweden and Switzerland.
For Carola Fuentes, general manager of FISA, the new venue "reflects the growth that AquaSur has had in recent years. Currently we are the largest fair in the southern hemisphere and the actors in the aquaculture industry confirm this by choosing, year after year, to be part of this initiative".
