The operation, which corresponds to a sustainable credit, reflects the company's strong financial position and the confidence of local and international banks in its performance.
Multi X successfully completed the refinancing of its debt totaling US$ 250 million, with favorable financial conditions. This operation not only highlights the company's financial strength, but also the banking sector's confidence in its future performance and sustainable growth strategy.
The transaction was led by Rabobank, together with the banks DNB, BCI and Santander, and was structured in two phases. Phase A, which corresponds to a long-term amortizing loan over 5 years for US$ 180 million, and Phase B, a revolving credit line with a duration of 2 and a half years, for US$ 70 million, renewable.
The operation is a sustainable credit, which means it is associated with the achievement of certain sustainability objectives and indicators. This feature reinforces Multi X's commitment to good environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices, and highlights the growing market interest in investments that promote a positive impact on society and the environment.
"This refinancing, in addition to reflecting the financial strength of Multi X and its capacity for future cash generation, allows us to continue the process of deleveraging and to have the necessary resources for the future development of the company with sustainability as a fundamental pillar. I thank Rabobank, DNB, BCI and Santander for the confidence and continued support for the growth of the industry," said José Ramón Gutiérrez of the Pedregal, Multi X CFO.
With this refinancing, Multi X reaffirms its leadership in the salmon industry, highlighting its long-term vision, focused on sustainability and innovation, while continuing to boost its growth and expansion in the global market.
