SalmonChile currently groups around 50 companies in the sector, including producers, suppliers and service companies, with the common goal of promoting sustainable salmon farming, integrated into the territory and based on good practices.

The company OXXEAN, specialized in logistics and port infrastructure solutions for aquaculture, officially joined the network of partners of SalmonChile, the main salmon farming guild of the country.

With more than 35 years of experience, SalmonChile currently brings together approximately 50 companies in the sectorincluding producers, suppliers and service companies, with the common goal of promoting sustainable salmon farming, integrated into the territory and based on good practices. In this context, the incorporation of OXXEAN aims to strengthen the sectoral vision of a more collaborative industry and coordinated with the different actors in the value chain.

Our inclusion in SalmonChile responds to OXXEAN's commitment to actively contribute to a more integrated, sustainable and efficient salmon industry. Being part of a sector group that has, for more than three decades, led the main challenges of the sector with vision, allows us to contribute from our experience in port infrastructure and logistics solutions for aquaculture in southern Chile. We hope to add a perspective complementary that contributes to the collaborative development of the sector and its positive link with the territories," stated Gustavo Pacheco, executive director of OXXEAN.

By the same token, the president of SalmonChile, Arturo Clément, valued this new incorporation and highlighted its relevance, indicating that “the arrival of OXXEAN to the guild reinforces the commitment of the industry to work in an articulated way with key actors of the aquaculture ecosystem. Their experience in logistics and infrastructure is essential to keep moving towards a more efficient, modern and responsible salmon farming, connected to communities and the challenges of sustainable development.”
