Bootcamp Patagonia Azul is aimed at entrepreneurs, founding teams and startups with projects in growth stage, that have a technological or innovative base, a clear focus on sustainability and that actively promote decarbonization.

In a region marked by its close relationship with the ocean, the Bootcamp Patagonia Azul is presented as a transformative opportunity to promote sustainable entrepreneurship and the protection of the marine-coastal natural heritage of southern Chile. This training initiative, promoted by KëtrawaLab as a co-executor entity, has the back of the background Viraliza de Corfo, and opens its call to identify and accelerate innovative solutions within the framework of the Sustainable Blue Economyespecially focused on the Los Lagos region.

This region has one of the greatest riches in marine biodiversity in Chile, with vast coastal border areas, fjords, canals and communities that have historically lived in connection with the sea. This area has been the protagonist of the country's aquaculture and fisheries development, but it also faces important challenges in terms of sustainability, climate change and pressure on its ecosystems.

In this context, Corfo Los Lagos has promoted a series of initiatives to diversify the productive matrix, promote green entrepreneurship and strengthen an innovation ecosystem that allows progress towards a more balanced and regenerative development model . Bootcamp Patagonia Azul joins this vision, consolidating itself as a platform for entrepreneurs and startups to develop technological, social and environmental solutions that protect the ocean, generate added value and contribute to fair decarbonization.

"This Bootcamp represents a concrete road map for entrepreneurs in southern Chile to become key actors in the shift towards a sustainable blue economy. From Corfo Los Lagos, we firmly believe that innovation can and should be put at the service of the protection of our marine ecosystems, which are a source of life, culture and development for our communities. Patagonia Azul is a clear example of how we can articulate local capacities with a global vision to build a more just and resilient future," pointed out Eduardo Arancibia Romo , Regional Director of Corfo Los Lagos.

The programme will address strategic areas such as:

  • Sustainable and Special Interests Tourism
