Garware Technical Fibres reaffirms its commitment as a strategic partner for salmon farming, where international collaboration translates into real impact on productivity, sustainability and efficiency for its clients.
With the aim of transforming its global experience into concrete solutions for the industry, the company Garware Technical Fibres recently carried out in India a meeting that brought together executives from America, Africa, Asia, Europe and Oceania, including key markets for salmon farming such as Canada, Chile, Scotland, Norway, New Zealand, the Faroe Islands and Tasmania.
Direct exchange between local (production, logistics, quality, R&D, among others) and global teams strengthened the understanding of the industry's challenges and the company's response capability, thus allowing the continued promotion of innovation with a clear focus on the customer.
During the meeting, led by Vayu Garware and Pravin Gogia, the operational results of 2025 were reviewed and the main objectives for 2026 were defined. In this context, continuous innovation, along with active and rigorous management of intellectual property, is positioned as a key pillar to safeguard the value of its developments and maintain the competitive advantage.
Throughout the days, participants shared experiences between markets and analyzed solutions applied to different productive realities, facilitating the transfer of knowledge and the adaptation of technologies to specific conditions.
On behalf of the Chilean team, Marcos Jofré, Felipe Maldonado, Ramkrushna Borse and Francisco Serra participated. "These types of instances allow to strengthen the local perspective, share learning from operations and collect experiences from other markets, providing direct value to the current challenges of the industry," comments Francisco Serra, commercial manager of Garware in Chile.
One of the main focuses of the meeting was precisely to deepen the interaction between on-site knowledge and the development of new solutions. Likewise, the executives updated their knowledge about the manufacturing processes and the quality standards that support the company's product portfolio.
