Greenline program by Badinotti, together with Salmones Austral and the local community, made a significant contribution to the present and future of early childhood education at the Sol Naciente – Pocoihuen Alto Kindergarten, located in the commune of Cochamó, belonging to Integra Foundation.
Childhood education is a fundamental pillar for the overall development of people and for building a more sustainable future. It is during the first years of life that the foundations of cognitive, emotional, physical and social development are established, as well as the relationship that children will build with their environment and the natural world.
Through its program Greenline, Badinotti drives sustainability initiatives linked to its products and services, supporting its customers in reducing the environmental impact of their aquaculture operations and promoting, together, the development and strengthening of the communities where the industry is present.
In this context, and as part of its second Greenline activity, Badinotti, together with Austral Salmon and the local community, made a significant contribution to the present and future of early childhood education in the Infant Garden Sol Naciente – Pocoihuen Alto, located in the commune of Cochamó, belonging to Integra Foundation.
The initiative consisted of the installation of a atmospheric water generator, a sustainable solution that allows to capture the moisture present in the air and transform it into high quality water for human consumption. This technology increases the water independence of the facility, reduces the carbon and water footprint associated with traditional supply and, at the same time, becomes a powerful educational tool by practically reproducing the natural water cycle.

During the visit to the garden, representatives from Badinotti and Salmones Austral - including Karen Espinoza, in charge of Territorial Relations at Salmones Austral - were received by the director of the establishment, Isabel Donoso, her teaching team and the children of the garden themselves. In a didactic and approachable way, the students explained how the equipment works and how it has positively impacted their daily lives, allowing them to have more safe and high quality water to drink, thus joining education and sustainability in a glass of water.
With this action, Badinotti, Salmones Austral and the community of parents and guardians of the nursery strengthen a collaborative and committed work, contributing concretely to the well-being of people and the care of the environment, and demonstrating how sustainability can generate real and lasting impacts in the territories.
Like Badinotti in Chile, we are proud and happy to be actively part of the communities where we are present. We firmly believe that sustainability is built with concrete actions, especially when they impact the education and well-being of future generations. Through Greenline, and together with customers who share this vision, we aim to make a real and positive contribution to people and the environment. environment"highlighted Alex Gildemeister, general manager of Badinotti Chile.
