The activities in which different company executives participated focused on sharing experiences regarding the industry's challenges, as well as their progress towards a modern and innovative salmon farming industry.

An active participation had Multi X during the Blue Week Los Lagos 2025international meeting that seeks to position Chilean Patagonia as a hub global for the blue economy. The event brought together the public and private world, including authorities and international actors, companies, entrepreneurs and NGOs, among others.

"These are instances that allow to highlight what is being done in southern Chile and to generate a constructive dialogue around the challenges of one of its main activities: aquaculture. Sharing experiences with ecosystem actors, from entrepreneurs to international delegations, highlights the work we do and reinforces the strategic role of salmon farming for the country's sustainable development," said Francisco Lobos, Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Manager of Multi X.

Highlights the visit of the Chile Spain Foundation delegation, consisting of 20 people, to the Multi X facilities to learn about the production process, the company's value chain and the use of new tools to ensure an efficient and sustainable operation.

Added to the above, Francisco Lobos also accompanied a technical visit of  Canada's Ocean Supercluster to REMAP, a company that supports Multi X in the management and recycling of plastic waste from the process plant and farming operations. This collaboration has been key to advancing the company's circularity model.

Meanwhile, the Sub-Manager of Multi X Corporate Strategy and Development, Alberto del Pedregal, participated in the panel “From Science to Market,” noting that “it was a valuable space to visualize how science and technology, when connected to the challenges of industry, can become high-impact solutions. We want to continue to drive innovation from southern Chile and we are open to collaborating with all those who want to build a more sustainable and knowledge-based aquaculture.”
