A total of 881 business meetings in two days generated the first version of the export meeting Enexpro Global Solutions, an event organized by ProChile to connect the national supply of technology and service providers for key industries of the country with potential buyers from a dozen markets across the American continent.

In total, 147 Chilean companies participated, offering global solutions for four leading industries in the country, such as mining, agriculture, aquaculture and solutions related to clean energy, energy efficiency and water management. The representatives of these companies were able to meet with more than 40 counterparts from a dozen Latin American countries and Canada; from these meetings, according to the surveys applied to the business opportunities are projected at around US$ 20.8 million.

"Chile has a globally recognized leadership in the mining sector, agriculture and aquaculture, and is among the most attractive countries for investment in the transition to clean energy, energy efficiency and water management," said the General Director of ProChile, Ignacio Fernández, who made a presentation on the opportunities that technology and service providers have in these industries to export their offerings.

Similarly, he pointed out that "our country has exportable knowledge in these sectors and it is something that, as ProChile, we have the decision to promote, in our mission to diversify the country's export basket and the markets to which our offer reaches."

Enexpro Global Solutions is one of the main events organized by ProChile for the service provider sector this year, in which the institution also celebrates five decades of work in promoting exports. In December last year, the entity linked to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs launched a special program for service providers and innovation in key industries for the national economy, that offers training, networking opportunities and access to business meetings.

Chucao Tech is one of the exporting companies that was present in Enexpro Global Solutions, with its technological offer of nanobubbles for the cleaning of the seabed. “This export meeting was a good opportunity to see the potential of Chilean suppliers in international markets,” said the CEO and partner of the firm, José Pablo Puga. Chucao Tech has also participated with ProChile this year in events such as the first Chile Summit Europe, held in Spain, and Aquaculture, in the UK.

With this, the institution seeks to increase exports of technology and services, which are increasing actors in Chilean shipments to the world. In particular, in the Americas, the aim is to take advantage of public-private efforts in different countries of the continent to incorporate renewable energies, given the lack of infrastructure or shortage of hydrocarbons, investments in the mining sector, innovation in the agricultural and aquaculture industry or combating the effects of climate change.

"With this program and this first Enexpro, we are highlighting the existence of an important network of national suppliers of the main industries in which Chile has export leadership, visualizing its capacity for innovation and creating new solutions that allow us to position Chile as a reliable supplier," said ProChile's National Director, Lorena Sepúlveda. He added that the institution "has drawn a sheet of international route, with various activities in Chile and in foreign markets in which we have detected opportunities".

For example, ProChile has supported the presence of companies that offer services and technology to the mining sector at the PDAC held in March, in Canada; this month at Exponor exhibition, in Antofagasta; in September at Expomin Peru and November with IMARC Australia; as well as the participation of agricultural suppliers in relevant instances such as Macfrut, in Italy, and the aquaculture sector in Aquaculture in the United Kingdom, among others. instances.
