HDPE Solutions made a new shipment to Oman, this time two rigid boats for an aquaculture company in that country.

Two new rigid boats model Challwafe, 7.5 meters in length, were exported last week to Oman by the regional company HDPE Solutions. It is the second shipment of vessels to that country, located in the Persian Gulf, by the company with its headquarters in the city of Calbuco, Los Lagos region.

The shipment was made from the HDPE Solutions facilities on Wednesday, 14 January and is destined for Sohar port, an important logistics hub between Asia and the rest of the world. The shipment to the Middle East constitutes a new milestone for the high density polyethylene (HDPE) vessel manufacturer, as it is the same customer to whom it had already sent a first boat in 2023.

"It is an Asian aquaculture producer, who is very satisfied with the performance of the first vessel we sent a little more than two years ago. This shows that our experience and the co-creation of each project, together with each customer, results in a medium and long-term commercial relationship," highlights Álvaro Alvarado, commercial manager of HDPE Solutions.

It should be noted that the company from the Los Lagos region has already carried out exports of boats and dinghies to Baja California (Mexico), Costa Rica, New Zealand, countries where the high resistance to salinity of high-density polyethylene has been highlighted, in addition to being a 100% recyclable material, with low maintenance costs and high durability.

The company, which has professionals with more than 20 years of experience in the design and manufacture of rigid vessels, has managed to deliver more than 500 vessels manufactured and marketed, both in Chile and abroad, and its clients range from artisanal fishing and tourism, to service companies for aquaculture and mussel producers.
